Benedetta was born in Sassari, an Italian city located in Sardinia, a few miles from the beautiful Mediterranean Sea. Her passion for art was evident since an early age, when she would participate in local art festivals for young emerging artists. She moved to the United States in 1997 and continued to pursue her dreams. Her work has been shown in several galleries and added to private collections around the world. In 2005 she opened her website www.benedettabozzo.com.  She graduated Magna Cum Laude with a B.A. . She earned a Master of Arts in 2008 and she is currently finishing her J.D. . Benedetta’s unique paintings and art dolls reflect her admiration for the warmth and simplicity of folk art, the whimsical and the eclectic, and the peace and purity found in sacred art. She loves to experiment with fabric and texture to create colorful pieces that bring out memories of a happy childhood.
